The switched reluctance machine (SRM) is one of the most interesting machines, being adopted for many applications. However, this requires a power electronic converter that usually fragile element system. Thus, in order to ensure high reliability system, it fundamental design with fault-tolerant capability. In context, new solution proposed give capability This was designed purpose two types switch faults, namely open- and short-circuit. Moreover, apart from feature, topology characterized by multilevel operation allows improvement performance SRM, taking into consideration wide speed range.
